Just because you’re allergic to the tiny critters it doesn’t mean you have trash your old mattress and start all over. Before you pull out the big guns and buy a HEPA vacuum cleaner, spring for dust mite covers (which, by the way, The New England Journal Of Medicine is not terribly enthused about), or invest in a chunk-of-metal dehumidifier, or consider these less melodramatic solutions first.
